On 18-19 September, the DIGICHer project consortium met in beautiful Vilnius, hosted by the Faculty of Creative Industries of VILNIUS TECH - Vilnius Gediminas Technical University

We were excited to share first research insights, explore opportunities, discuss challenges and plan next steps.

DIGICHer aims to explore the legal, political, socio-economic and technological factors driving the digitisation of cultural heritage for minority communities.

The project will design a new and practical framework that promotes equity, inclusion and diversity in the representation of digital cultural content.

Project partners will create knowledge-based recommendations for policy and decision-makers. These recommendations will focus on enhancing digitalisation efforts for cultural heritage collections with an emphasis on Improving equity, diversity and inclusion by placing minority groups at the centre of the digitalisation efforts.
